About Us
Angela and Erica’s story began when two kindred spirits met at their small church, and became fast friends through their shared love of food, faith, and finding beauty in treasures from eras gone by. Desiring a creative outlet, they began curating elaborate food spreads for their friends and families. The joy and warmth these feasts brought to their fellowship and gatherings eventually planted the seeds for Eden House.
Erica began cooking in her humble little kitchen in Redlands, California. The first dish she cooked was from her heritage, a Portuguese dish called Chicken Madeira. It gave her much satisfaction and a spark of excitement knowing she could cook whatever she desired. Since then, she has not stopped cooking and having fun with food. With a love and curiosity of other cultures, she has expanded her ability to cook multicultural foods. Ever the California girl, Erica loves fresh, colorful ingredients and taps into her Latin American roots by excelling at making marinades for various meat dishes. She has a refined sense of taste and smell, being able to pick out the most obscure ingredients and nuances in a dish. She is happy to have made East Tennessee home with her wonderful husband Adan, and their four children.

Meet Angela Grey
Born on a dairy farm in Switzerland, Angela’s father moved her and her family to Canada, and eventually to upstate New York at a young age. She had the rare opportunity of growing up farming in three different countries, and eating mostly from what the family grew and produced. She credits her parents, who run a successful artisan cheese business from their herd of dairy cows, for cultivating her interest in food. Vivid memories of her mother; a master bread maker, gardener and home chef making elaborate meals out of minimal ingredients were a regular part of her childhood. Angela’s strengths are her lived experiences, and she hopes to share the fruits of those here in Tennessee. In her spare time, she likes to travel, run, and spend time with her husband David, step-son Hudson, and their dog, Shiloh.
